The Water Department is responsible for providing water services to all customers within in the corporate limits of the City of Ellaville and areas immediately adjacent to the city limits. The department provides services to approximately 975 water customers.

R E S O L U T I O N
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELLAVILLE is hereby amending by repealing all rate schedules for Water and Sewer in the City of Ellaville and adding a new rate schedule for Water and Sewer inside and outside of the City of Ellaville to become effective July 1, 2004.
RATE SCHEDULE
There is hereby adopted the following Water and Sewer Rate Schedule
WATER RATE SCHEDULE
Water: RATE:
0-2,000 $ 13.00 per month minimum for residential customers within City limits
$ 17.00 per month minimum for residential customers outside the City of Ellaville
$ 20.50 per month minimum for Commercial, Industrial and Public Customers within
the City limits
$ 22.50 per month minimum for Commercial, Industrial and Public Customers
outside the City of Ellaville
2,001 and over $ 2.40 per 1,000 gallons
SEWER RATE SCHEDULE
(a) Residential sewer rates within the City limits shall be at a minimum of $ 11.00 for first 2,000
gallons and all over 2,000 shall be $2.64 per 1,000 gallons.
(b) Residential sewer rates outside the City of Ellaville shall be at a minimum of $14.00
for first 2,000 gallons and all over 2,000 shall be $2.64 per 1,000 gallons.
(c) Commercial, Industrial and Public Sewer rates within the City limits shall be a minimum
of $19.25 for first 2,000 gallons and all over 2,000 gallons shall be $2.64 per 1,000 gallons.
( d) Commercial, Industrial and Public Sewer outside the City of Ellaville shall be a minimum
of $22.85 for first 2,000 gallons and all over 2,000 gallons shall be $2.64 per 1,000 gallons.
